I have had garden ponds for over 30 years. I used to use conventional netting and always found it unsightly and thought there has got to be a simpler solution, so I designed ‘Netfloat’. There is no reason to cover the complete pond with netting, as the heron normally takes fish from the edge. Since using ‘Netfloat’, I have watched herons on numerous occasions go around the circumference of my pond as shown on this leaflet and not once have they attempted to make a strike. Rings can be cut out for plants or other obstacles. Join rings in pairs before placing in pond using joining rings as indicated. Snap on positioning clips on each edge of next pair of rings before placing in pond. Slightly overlay each pair when placing in pond and secure with the twist ties. One pack of 20 rings covers approx: 3.5 linear metres of pond perimeter when laid out 2 rings deep as above. |
